Fragrance Composition
The Eau de Parfum opens with notes of cumin, cinnamon, and oleander. Floral notes also dominate its heart, with the presence of Damask rose, geranium, and jasmine, complemented by the scent of tea. Incense is the cornerstone of the Epic fragrance, which you will detect from the very beginning, accompanied by woody notes of sandalwood, agarwood, guaiac wood, mysterious musk, amber, and patchouli with a hint of sweet vanilla.
Fragrance History
Amouage Epic Eau de Parfum was created by a trio of perfumers: Cecile Zarokian, Daniel Maurel, and Angeline Leporini. It was released in 2009. The fragrance is inspired by the mystical story of the search for a long-lost aria, buried somewhere near the Silk Road, where for centuries, silk was transported from China and traded for silver incense from Oman. This innocent story gradually transforms into legend, just like the Epic fragrance itself.
